Message from the President

Music Industry Educators (MIE) was formed in 2006 by a group of Music Industry program faculty and directors who were looking for a solution to the ever-increasing student demand for music industry education. We determined that the issues of finding qualified faculty, limited recording facility and lab resources could be addressed by developing a comprehensive curriculum - audio, business and songwriting - in an e-learning format.

MIE, as an educational consortium, provides MI e-learning curricula and faculty to college and universities (currently over 100) as credit & non-credit offerings. By providing our college and university partners the ability to offer our highly specialized and sparsely offered curricula; we service new and current student population demands for quality music industry instruction. MIE enables your institution to deliver Music Industry Education through cutting-edge online programs to students in the classroom, in your community and across the globe.
